And I’ve now been in remission for over 6 years from a Stage 4 small cell lung cancer diagnosis!

In 2011, right after turning 50, doctors diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer and gave 4-6 months to live if I did chemotherapy and radiation.

I did 4 months of chemotherapy and 30 rounds of radiation for a 2.75cm x 2.50cm hilar mass. Also had 10 rounds of cranial radiation to prevent the cancer from going to my brain. The latter caused me major memory loss and hallucinations.

So I did my research, and learned that surviving this for 2 years was 9% and 5 years was 2%. I had a family to support and dying wasn’t an option.

I already had my medical weed card and was using cannabis for pain and muscle spasms. So, after watching “Run From the Cure,” I made Phoenix Tears using White Widow.

While doing chemotherapy, I used strong pot brownies for nausea – NEVER once vomited. Now I smoke cannabis and occasionally eat medibles.

Cannabis saved my life.

On the third day of creation, God gave us this healing herb. I have to say that on the dark days of my life, alone and depressed, a few hits on my pipe and I’m my happily singing and playing guitar.

It’s been six and half years and I am still in remission from stage 4 lung cancer!
