    CBD OIL FAQ

What is the difference between CBD daytime and CBD nighttime oils?

The difference in effects is a result of the terpenes and minor cannabinoids. For example, nighttime CBD oil will be rich in sedating terpenes, such as myrcene. And daytime CBD oils will have a more uplifting terpene profile, such as limonene.

Are CBD oil and hemp seed oil the same?

Hemp seed oil is made from the seeds of the hemp plant and will be without a significant cannabinoid content. This oil from the hemp seed is rich in omega fatty acids. CBD oil is made from the flower, and will be rich in terpenes and cannabinoids, including a small amount of THC (no more than 0.3%).

What is the difference between broad spectrum and full spectrum CBD oil?

Broad-spectrum products contain all hemp plant compounds, including cannabinoids and terpenes, except for THC. Full-spectrum cannabis oil contains all cannabinoids and terpenes, including THC.

Are CBD oils legal in all states?

CBD remains illegal in Idaho, Nebraska, and South Dakota. For all other states in America, CBD is legal as long as the THC content is less than 0.3%.

Does CBD oil help with cancer?

There is no scientific evidence to indicate that CBD treats or cures cancer. It may, however, help with symptoms associated with cancer including pain, inflammation, and nausea.

    Does CBD Oil help dogs?

Research is still early, but dogs do have an endocannabinoid system similar in function to humans. Additionally, research suggests CBD may help with symptoms associated with stress and inflammation. Please speak to your veterinarian prior to giving your dog CBD.

    Where does CBD come from?

CBD is a compound, called a cannabinoid, that naturally occurs in the Cannabis sativa plant. While it has a good safety profile and is considered to be relatively free of side effects, children and pregnant or nursing mothers should first consult their physician.

    When does CBD oil expire?

CBD oil has a shelf life, like other consumable products. Always check the labels on the product bottle and packaging. Typically, CBD oil lasts for 14 to 24 months when stored in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight.

Why is CBD oil placed under the tongue?

When taken sublingually (under the tongue), therapeutic elements are absorbed directly into the bloodstream. This means cannabinoids will be felt more quickly when taken under the tongue, as these avoid first-pass through the liver.

Can I take CBD oil with other medications?

Most medications can be taken with CBD, however, studies show that some will have contraindications. This is because CBD uses the same pathways through the liver and can, therefore, effect dosing and effectiveness of certain kinds of pharmaceuticals. As a result, consult with your physician first.
